Our Process

Phase One

Discovery

During our Discovery Phase, we will explore your space together and discuss your dreams for the home you want to craft.  We’ll review timeline and budget in order to set realistic goals for your project. After our consultation, we’ll send you a detailed proposal that reflects the scope of work, estimated timeline, and costs. Once you sign the proposal and provide your initial payment, we move into Conceptual Design

Phase Two

Concept Design

During Concept Design, we apply all we learned during Discovery to craft the overall vision and direction of your project. This will include inspiration boards, fabric and finish samples, and tactile elements to ensure we are on the right path. During our Concept Design Presentation, we will review detailed floor plans, elevations, and lighting plans, along with all samples and swatches that support the vision for your home.

Phase Three

Design

During the Design Phase, we select the perfect elements to craft your dream home. This  includes all material and furniture selections. We review your overall investment, design renderings, and your final floor plans and finishes during our Design Presentation. If we undertake construction, we will focus on the hard surface, like flooring, cabinetry, and lighting, first and then move into furniture selections.

Phase Four

Execution

Once the Design Plan is approved, we move into the Execution Phase. We’ll begin placing and managing orders and overseeing construction to ensure proper implementation. We coordinate lead times and installation schedules with your contractors, as required. We’ll send regular updates to keep you informed along the way. Furnishings will be shipped to our receiving warehouse where they will be inspected for damages and held. We will organize, troubleshoot and plan for your Installation Day.

PHASE FIVE

Installation

The full vision of your home becomes a reality during the Installation Phase. Once construction has finished, we’ll install furnishings, rugs, art, and all of the distinctive details. These final touches can take between one to three days. After the reveal, we will make a plan for any housekeeping items that remain. The space will be photographed for our portfolio or potential future publication, and we’ll deliver a farewell package and a complete guide to the care and maintenance of all products and materials.
